The Strong Interest Inventory is the basic career-planning tool for anyone seeking career direction.  Packed with more focused, graphic career information than any other interest inventory report, it uses attractive four-color graphics and targeted information to present a picture of a person's career interests.  It is used with career development clients to provide career-planning information that's easy to use and easy to understand.  It features:

The Skills Confidence Inventory measures a person's perceived level of confidence in performing skills related to the six General Occupational Themes (GOTs).  Your confidence levels are also compared with your levels of interest in the GOTs.  This new measure of skills confidence is available with the Strong, which allows the measurement of both interests and perceived skills to assist in the career-planning process.  It opens discussion of your confidence level in your skills, a factor that could be preventing you from considering high-interest careers.

      It shows whether you have very little, little, moderate, high, or very high confidence in skills related to the six GOTs.  It also allows the comparison of interests and skills while organizing results into four categories for prioritizing exploration:

	High Priority: High Confidence, High Interest
	Possible Option if Interests Develop: High Confidence, Little Interest
	Good Option if Confidence Increases: Little Confidence, High Interest
	Low Priority: Little Confidence, Little Interest
